A lot this week on the 65th Anniversary of D-Day. Story / video of "Uncle Lenny Finally Opens Up About D-Day" is quite moving.

There are fewer and fewer of the "Greatest Generation" left to tell their stories. I think because I'm a Boomer, I find these accounts fascinating as they relate to my family's ultimate survival in Europe during that time and eventual emigration to the U.S. What Lenny experienced post D-Day (shell shock) is now known as PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and one has to assume that even though he moved on with his life, he was never the same again.
